These small desiccant sachets contain white silica gel beads for moisture adsorption in a relatively sealed package or enclosure. Available pack weights are 1 g, 2 g, 3 g and 5 g.
The listed silica gel is a physical desiccant composed mainly of amorphous silica and is described as a transparent or white granular or spherical solid with an open porous structure. The listed model is BT-SLB. Supplied bead-size options include 1–3 mm, 2–5 mm, 3–6 mm and 4–8 mm.
The stated SiO2 content is greater than 98.5%, while the parameter table gives a minimum bulk density of 0.75 g/ml and a minimum qualified-size ratio of 90% for white silica gel.
