MTH-10 is a solid catalyst intended for cracking and water-reforming reactions that produce hydrogen. It is supplied as black extrudates with a stated size of Φ5 × 5 mm. The listed chemical composition is CuO at ≥65.0 wt%, ZnO at ≥8.0 wt%, Al2O3 at ≥8.0 wt%, and another promoter at ≥2.0 wt%.
Laboratory activity data are reported for 120 ml of reduced-state catalyst operated at a space velocity of 1.2 h⁻¹. Under those stated conditions, conversion was ≥75% at 230°C and ≥95% at 250°C.
These figures are laboratory-condition results and should not be treated as guaranteed plant performance without confirming feed composition, reactor design, operating pressure, activation procedure, and measurement method.
The stated physical properties include bulk density of ≤1.3 kg/cm³, crushing strength of ≥80 N/cm, and loss on ignition of ≤13.0% under the listed 540°C/hr condition. The catalyst is described as soluble and refined quality.
