Original product description
This 3A zeolite molecular sieve is a potassium-form alkali metal aluminosilicate desiccant with an effective pore opening of approxima urated hydrocarbons. Reported technical properties include static water adsorption of at least 20% and shipped water content of no more than 1.5%.
Depending on form and diameter, the technical table lists bulk density values of at least 0.65 or 0.70 g/ml, size-grade ratios of at least 98%, wear ratios from no more than 0.10% to 0.25%, and crushing strength from at least 30 N per sphere to at least 70 N per sphere or 45–60 N/cm for pellets.
Ethylene adsorption is listed at no more than 3.0%. Reported applications include drying ethylene, propylene, butadiene, cracked gas, natural gas, methanol, ethanol, liquid alcohol, refrigerants, and air-filled or gas-filled insulating glass units.
Suitability for any specific process depends on feed composition, operating conditions, required outlet moisture, regeneration method, and selected particle form. The material can be regenerated by heating in thermal-swing service or by reducing pressure in pressure-swing service.
