This product listing covers zeolite molecular sieve desiccants identified as 3A, 4A, 5A, 13X and APG. Detailed performance data is supplied only for Type 4A, so buyers should not apply the listed 4A values to the other grades without obtaining their separate technical data sheets.
Supported Type 4A facts Type 4A is described as the sodium form of a Type A alkali aluminosilicate crystal structure, with a nominal pore opening of approxima ecules.
The listed examples of adsorbable molecules include oxygen, nitrogen, carbon dioxide and straight-chain hydrocarbons;branched-chain hydrocarbons and aromatics are described as excluded. The 4A product is light gray and available as spheres or pellets.
