This calcium chloride container desiccant is intended to help control moisture during the shipment and storage of agricultural products, textiles, furniture, auto parts, pet food, corrugated cartons, and other moisture-sensitive cargo.
It is described as a physical desiccant using white calcium chloride powder, with moisture absorption of up to three times its own weight. The specified 1 kg configuration has a 150 × 150 mm inner pouch and a 170 × 850 mm outer pouch. Its single-bag construction uses a Tyvek front and PET-film back.
