Application: Mainly used for rich oxygen generation, oxygen/nitrogen separation in PSA or VSA air separation processes and medical oxygen concentrators.
It has the characteristics of high adsorption capacity and fast adsorption rate for nitrogen;It has a very strong adsorption selectivity, complete desorption at vacuum or atmospheric pressure, high crush strength and low attrition rate as well.
Regeneration: Molecular sieve Type 5A can be regenerated by either heating in the case of thermal swing processes;or by lowering the pressure in the case of pressure swing processes. To remove moisture from a 5A molecular sieve, a temperature of 250-300°C is required.
