Description SNY-297 is an dispersion of aminoalkyl and alkoxyl functional polydimethylsiloxane. The reactive group methoxy and amino group brings special features.
SNY-297 can react with a variety of materials such as polyester, polyurethane, acrylic acid and carboxylic acid to provide durable silicone performance for a variety of coating and ink systems.
Features • Improves shine and gloss effect • Improves abrasion resistance • Water repellency and durable protection • Premium softener for leather treatments Application • Premium softener for leather treatments • As an ingredient in detergent-resistant auto polishes and cleaners • Imparting durable silicone characteristics into various coat formulations.
SNY-297 is soluble in many common organic solvents including aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbon solvents, isobutane and lower alcohols (absolute). It is not soluble in water and hydrolyses in the presence of water.
