13X molecular sieve is a sodium-form type X zeolite adsorbent intended for industrial drying and purification processes. The listed nominal pore diameter is 10 angstroms.
Supported uses include removing moisture and carbon dioxide from air and other gas streams, pre-purifying feed gas for air-separation equipment, producing enriched or bulk oxygen in PSA units, and removing selected sulfur compounds or normal-chain components from hydrocarbon streams.
The product is offered in spherical-bead and cylindrical-pellet forms. Listed standard sizes include 1.7–2.5 mm and 3.0–5.0 mm spheres, plus 1.6 mm and 3.2 mm pellets. Other stated forms include 1–2 mm, 2–3 mm, and 2.5–5 mm beads and powder.
