13X APG is a zeolite molecular sieve desiccant designed for the co-adsorption of water (H2O) and carbon dioxide (CO2) in cryogenic air-separation systems. Removing these components from the air stream helps prevent bed gelation during air-separation operation.
The product has a nominal pore diameter of 10 angstroms and is supplied in a light-gray spherical or pellet form. Available configurations include 1.7–2.5 mm and 3.0–5.0 mm spheres, plus 1.6 mm and 3.2 mm pellets.
All four configurations have a stated size ratio of at least 98%, wear ratio of no more than 0.20%, static H2O adsorption of at least 27%, static CO2 adsorption of at least 18%, and water content of no more than 1.0%.
Bulk density and crushing strength vary by configuration, so buyers should select the grade using the corresponding technical values rather than particle size alone.
