This 13X molecular sieve is a sodium-form aluminosilicate adsorbent intended for industrial gas treatment and separation. The listed 13X material has a nominal pore diameter of 10 angstroms.
Supported uses include removing moisture and carbon dioxide from air or other gas streams, purifying feed gas before air separation, producing enriched or bulk oxygen in pressure swing adsorption (PSA) units, and removing hydrogen sulfide or mercaptans from hydrocarbon streams.
Available configurations include standard 13X and 13X-HP. The standard grade is listed as spherical beads or pellets in several sizes, including 1.7–2.5 mm and 3.0–5.0 mm spheres and 1.6 mm and 3.2 mm pellets. Other listed forms include 1–2 mm, 2–3 mm, and 2.5–5 mm beads as well as powder.
